  1. Sony and MS have been buying exclusive content from 3rd party game developer’s since forever, fanboys on both sides pic something up and run with it without even asking the question if it is true.

    1. Exactly, to act like it’s anything but business to make their products sell is delusional. Reality is none of them give a damn thst much about console wars

  2. I think people need to look at the facts. Microsoft has failed to deliver game quality on the same level as Sony whenever Microsoft has purchased a developer. The reason being is that Microsoft don’t have the internal talent that can elevate a developer. Anytime Microsoft has purchased a developer it’s always been universally a bad decision for the developer. Rare for example were run into the ground by Microsoft.

There also seems to be notion that Starfield and ES6 are going to be game changing from a graphics and gameplay point of view now Microsoft are involved. Let’s remember that Bethesda’s last game was Fallout 76. They are not going to go from that, to say, Ghost of Tsushima quality just because Microsoft has a wedge of cash. Money does not make incredible games like the ones seen in Sony Exclusives. It’s about Sony history in the market and the talent it’s accumulated over the years, nurturing the developers it’s buys.

There’s a reason that Bethesda didn’t show gameplay of Starfield and I would argue that it’s because it’s going to look very similar to Fallout 76 in terms of its jank, but in space.

  3. Consumers don’t care where Microsoft’s money goes, they just want good games, only PlayStation fanboys care hahaha. Competition is good because we the consumers benefit.
